(KAIR)--A Leavenworth County resident has been indicted on child pornography charges.
According to the office of U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom, 49-year-old Scott Meinert, of Tonganoxie, is charged with one court of possession of child pornography.
The crime is alleged to have occurred on March 25th of last year.
If convicted, Meinert faces a maximum penalty of 10-years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.
