(KTNC) - Dr. Kyle Ryan, an Associate Professor of Exercise Science, has been named Peru State College’s 2014 Teacher Excellence Award winner.
Ryan joined the Peru State faculty in 2009 and is the college’s coordinator for the UNMC Public Health Early Admissions Student Track program and is the co-director of the Children’s Health, Activity and Nutrition Community Engagement Initiative. He is also the lead faculty for the sport and exercise science curriculum at Peru State and is the chair of the advisory committee for the Nebraska Campus Compact.
Dr. Ryan will be honored during the college’s graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 10. He’ll also be a finalist for the Nebraska State College System’s George Rebensdorf Teaching Excellence Award.
