(KLZA) -- The Southeast Nebraska Relay for Life Event held recently in Auburn raised over $8,500. This year’s event included a parade.
Angela Allgood who served as Chairperson for the second year noted that 50 Peru State College students walked during the event. She thanked committee members Pam and Eric Adams, Alice Alexander, Sheril Petet, kathy Keithley, Michelle Custer, Casie Allen, Dr. Darren Wright and Joe Casey.
There were nine Bronze sponsors donating from $100-$249; four Silver sponsors donating $250 - $499 and one Gold sponsor that donated between $500 and $999.
