Primary Election Deadlines in Neb.

(KTNC) - The Nebraska Primary Election is two weeks away and the Secretary of State’s office is reminding voters of some key deadlines in advance of the election.
Friday is the last day for in-person voter registration. County election offices will remain open until 6:00 p.m. Friday for voter registration.
The last day that county election officials can receive an application for early voting ballots to be mailed to a specific address is 4:00 p.m. on May 7.
Monday, May 12 is the last day for early voting in person at county clerk or election commissioner offices.
The primary election will be held on Tuesday, May 13. Polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. that day.
Early voting ballots and voter registration forms with early voting ballots must be returned to county election offices by the time the polls close. That is also the deadline for early voting ballots to be received by mail at county election offices.
The Board of State Canvassers will meet to certify the election results on June 9.
