(KLZA) -- The public is invited to attend a barbecue lunch on Thursday, May 1 at WASP Inc. as part of Business and Industry week.
Falls City Economic Development and Growth Enterprise will be recognizing Watkins Aircraft Support Products with the barbecue from 11:30 a-m until 1:30 p-m.
WASP officials from Glenwood, Minnesota will be on hand to provide tours to the public, giving you a chance to see the Falls City facility.
WASP currently is celebrating 25 years in business in Falls City and 35 years at Glenwood, Minnesota. They currently have an all-time high of 92 employees at the Falls City plant.
WASP is one of the world leaders in the design and production of non-powered airline ground support equipment. The business has expanded and includes package handling conveyor equipment as well as military trailers supplied to the U.S. Government.
