(KNZA)--22nd Judicial District Chief Judge Jim Patton has filed for re-election to a fifth 4-year term.
The 22nd Judicial District includes Brown, Doniphan, Marshall and Nemaha Counties.
The filing deadline for the August 5th primary election is noon, June 2nd.
Patton was in private practice in the cities of Troy and Hiawatha before his election to the court in 1994. He served 30 years in the National Guard including several years as the Guard’s judge advocate general of Kansas.
He and his wife, Donna, live in Hiawatha.
