(KNZA)--A law enforcement pursuit involving a stolen vehicle ends in a roll-over crash in southern Jefferson County
20-year-old Dylan Alexander, of Lawrence, was transported to a Topeka hospital with disabling injuries following the crash on U.S. 24 Highway Wednesday morning about 2 ½ miles west of Perry. Authorities say the chase began in Douglas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says Alexander was eastbound being pursued by officers when they used a vehicle intervention technique. Alexander lost control of the sport utility vehicle he was driving, which rolled several times and landed on its side in a ditch.
Authorities say the 1999 Chevy Tahoe Alexander was driving had been reported stolen from a home in Douglas County.
