(KAIR)--It's now official. A stretch of Kansas Highway 7 between Atchison and Troy will bear the name of fallen Atchison Police Officer David Enzbrenner.
That comes after Governor Sam Brownback signed the Sergeant David Enzbrenner bill in a ceremony that took place in Topeka Wednesday morning. Atchison city officials and members of the Atchison Police Department were in attendance, along with members of Enzbrenner's family.
Brownback gave his approval to the bill last month after both the House and Senate passed it.
