(KMZA)--A single-vehicle wreck Wednesday night on I-29 about three miles south of St. Joseph claimed the life of a Marshall County, Kansas man.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 56-year-old Daniel Gartner, of Oketo, was southbound when his pickup truck traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a cable barrier shortly before 8.
Gartner was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, where he was pronounced dead.
It’s unknown if Gartner was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck.
