(KMZA)--Former U.S. Senator and Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole will visit Seneca and Marysville on Monday, May 12th as he begins a second tour of Kansas.
Dole will be at the Seneca American Legion Hall located at 812 Main Street from 10:45 and 11:45 that morning. He will then travel to Marysville where he will be at the Marysville American Legion located at 310 Veterans Memorial Drive from 12:35 to 1:30.
After a short speech at both stops, the 90-year-old Dole will be available for photos. The public is invited to attend.
Dole says he’s touring the state to thank those who supported him during his 30 years in Congress.
Sixteen stops are scheduled on this second tour May 12th through 15th.
Dole last month visited several area northeast Kansas communities including Holton, Hiawatha, Troy, Atchison and Leavenworth.
