(KAIR)--The number of thefts in a series of stolen Atchison vehicles continues to grow, with the latest incident taking place over the weekend.
According to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, the fifth vehicle was removed from a residence located in the 200 block of North Tenth Street. The vehicle's owner, 23-year-old Andrew Leathers of Atchison reported the vehicle missing shortly after midnight Friday night. However, it was returned undamaged to the same spot it was taken from just a few hours later.
Wilson says police are including this theft in their current investigation, as they believe all five cases are connected.
