(MSC News)--A round of severe weather pounded the local region Saturday, bringing strong winds, torrential rains and large hail.
No major damage has been reported locally, but it's another story for a northwestern Missouri community.
The Ray County town of Orrick was struck by a tornado early Saturday evening.
KQ2-TV reports that damage is reported to homes, trees and buildings, but no serious injuries are reported.
The touchdown happened around 5:30.
Another round of severe weather is possible locally during the early morning hours of Monday.
