(KNZA)--A warning sign is to be installed on a Brown County road north of Padonia to alert motorists of a dangerous curve near where neighborhood children often play.
Sue Mowry met with the Brown County Commission on Monday to request a Children at Play Sign be posted at 2966 Kestrel Road. Mowry says hopes the sign will help deter motorists from driving too fast.
Sheriff John Merchant said there have been wrecks at the location in the past.
As the section of road lies in Commissioner Warren Ploeger district, he said he will look into putting up a sign to alert drivers.
