(KTNC) - A new miniature golf course could be located in Humboldt, if a grant is approved.
Susan Phillips told the Humboldt City Council Tuesday night that she has applied for a SENCA grant for a youth lead project. Phillips says she’d like to use the grant to install an 18-hole miniature golf course at the Humboldt Lake Park.
The council gave permission to place the course at the Lake Park should the grant be approved.
Grant partners include SENCA, the City of Humboldt, and the HTRS shop and robotics classes.
In other business Tuesday, Dennis Crispin provided the council with an update on the Auditorium. He said the Auditorium Board is pleased with the new roof that was recently installed on the Auditorium.
The Auditorium Board did not receive a grant that it had applied for, which would have paid for additional repairs.
And the City Council accepted the resignation of Kevin Burnison from the Nursing Home Board. As yet, no one has expressed an interest in filling the position on the Nursing Home Board.
