(KMZA)--Work on a resurfacing project on a 10-mile portion K-87 in Marshall County is set to begin Friday.
The project will take place from the north city limits of the community of Vliets to the U.S. 36 junction.
On Thursday, the resurfacing work on a 9-mile portion of K-99 in Marshall County was completed and crews will now switch to K-87 to begin resurfacing work there.
Traffic will be directed through the project work zone via a pilot car operation during daylight hours only. Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes maximum and are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible.
The scheduled completion date for this portion of the project is late June 2014, weather permitting
