Gubernatorial Candidate Plans Atchison Visit
Paul Davis
(KAIR)--Seeking to unseat Sam Brownback as Governor, Democratic candidate Paul Davis is planning a tour of Atchison Friday afternoon.
Davis will be visiting the Atchison Area Chamber of Commerce, the Atchison Hospital, Atchison Middle School, Benedictine College, and the Riverfront Park before ending with a Meet and Greet in the banquet room of Paolucci's restaurant at 5:00.
Davis is running unopposed in the August 5th Primary election, and will join Libertarian Keen Umbehr in opposing Brownback in the November 4th general election. Businesswoman, and Wichita native Jennifer Winn will face the Governor in the Republican Primary election.
Davis has represented the 46th District in the Kansas House of Representatives since 2003.
