Pyle Responds To Wolf's Refusal
05/29/2014

(KNZA)--A caustic response to Dr. Milton Wolf's refusal to conduct a poll is issued by Republican Kansas Senator Dennis Pyle.

Pyle, of rural Hiawatha, had earlier proposed that he and the Tea Party backed Wolf hold a poll to see which of the two voters wished to see challenge incumbent Republican U.S. Senator Pat Roberts.

Wolf rejected the proposal, with his campaign saying Wednesday that Pyle should listen to conservatives backing Wolf, effectively telling Pyle to stay out of the race.

Wolf has already filed to run while Pyle is exploring the feasibility.

Pyle has issued a statement regarding Wolf's decision, posing the question “Why is the big bad wolf so afraid of little red poll?”

The press release states that Pyle will not enter the race until he listens “to conservative voters about what is best.”

An Editor's Note attached to the release addresses the Wolf campaign's claim that Pyle has been contacted by voters to stay out of the race. The note states that Pyle has received a total of 12 emails and phone calls from Wolf supporters attempting to discourage him.

While the Wolf and Pyle campaigns have been busy with the political back and forth, two other Republicans have decided to seek the U.S. Senate seat.

Russell resident Alvin Zahnter filed Tuesday to seek the Republican party's approval to challenge Roberts, while D.J. Smith, of Osawatomie, filed May 23rd, declaring her intent to challenge Roberts.

The filing deadline is noon Monday.

Why does Mr. Pyle think that everyone needs to do things his way, if he wants in the race then file. Might be that he is afraid of the big bad wolf. In other words Mr. Pyle, put up or shut up.
