Falls City Volunteer Firemen Respond to Friday Afternoon Call
06/02/2014

(KLZA) -- Falls City Volunteer Firemen were called out just past 5 p-m Friday night to 1904 Schoenheit Street.  A trash barrel was on fire and caught the wood fence around the barrel on fire.

The property owner said they don’t burn trash and believe someone had thrown something in the barrel that ignited it.

Fire Chief Ken Simpson estimated the damage to the fence at $300.

A dozen firemen responded to the call.
