Horton Woman Sentenced in Stabbing Case

(KNZA)--A Horton woman convicted of stabbing her live-in boyfriend last November has been placed on 24-months supervised probation.

Monica Keo was sentenced Monday in Brown County District Court on a charge of aggravated battery.
   
She pleaded “ no contest” to the felony charge in May.

Authorities say Keo stabbed her live-in boyfriend multiple times with a kitchen knife during the early morning hours of November 16th.

He was transported to the Horton Community Hospital where he was treated and released.
