Bern Roadway Reopens Following Storm
06/04/2014

(KMZA)--A Bern roadway, closed Tuesday night due to dangerous driving conditions, including downed power lines and trees resulting from the storm, has been reopened.

According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, the 5 mile stretch of K-71, from the city of Bern to the K-63 junction in Nemaha County reopened around 3:00 Wednesday afternoon.

That follows a successful cleanup effort in that area.
