Falls City Man Enters Plea to Felony Drug Charges

(KLZA)-- A Falls City man will be sentenced August 19th in Richardson County District Court after entering a plea of no contest to a pair of drug charges in two separate cases against him. 

In the first case, 31-year-old Chance Simon entered the plea to a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance, hydrocodone.  In exchange for his plea, a felony count of possession of marijuana were dismissed.

In the second case, Simon entered the plea to a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine.  In exchange for the plea, a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver was dismissed.

A pre-sentence investigation was ordered in both cases and bond was continued.  

Simon was arrested by a Falls City Police Officer December 13th on a warrant. When arrested he was in possession of drugs.
