(KLZA)-- Richardson County Commissioners Tuesday approved paying a $3,500 claim from the Goldberg Architect Group for a feasibility study the company prepared for the proposed jail project at the armory building on the west edge of Falls City.
Accompanied with the payment was a letter formally notifying the company that Richardson County is terminating all other agreements entered into with the company on March 18th, 2014.

Lyon also presented contracts for the lamp post and pedestal restoration project bid and awarded to Masonry Construction, Inc. of Bellevue, Nebraska. Commissioners approved a motion authorizing Board Chairman David Sickel to sign the contract in the amount of $22,313.
In other business Commissioners approved the appointment of Steve Schawang to the Veterans Service Committee for a term of five years. Schawang will replace Ken Coonce whose term expired.
The Board also voted to accept a $60,112 grant from the Nebraska Crime Commission for the Four County Juvenile Services Program with a required local match of $6,680.
