(KNZA)--The search is on again for a Doniphan County economic development director.
During this week’s regular meeting, the County Commission voted to advertise for the full-time position.
2nd District Commissioner Terry Horner brought up the issue, saying he had been approached at the annual Chamber of Commerce business appreciation breakfast about the county renewing its search for an economic development director.
In other business, County Zoning Administrator Julie Meng requested that the Commission consider amending the county’s zoning regulations to reduce the setback requirements for agricultural buildings from 65 to 20 feet from the county road right-of-way. The Commission voted to approve the amendment.
