(KLZA)-- Tecumseh residents, Chamber of Commerce members and business people in the community are invited to take a look at the improvements at the city park on Tuesday, July 1. The improvements include a new walking path and new playground equipment.
A community-wide picnic will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 p-m and will include free hot dogs and watermelon. The Johnson County Hospital will sponsor a free community swim from 6 – 8 p-m at the pool.
The Tecumseh American Legion Baseball program is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Tuesday evening. A free-will donation will be accepted for breast cancer awareness. All attending are encouraged to wear Pink to show your support.
The park improvements were supported by a donation from the Peter Kiewit Foundation.
