(KNZA)--The Doniphan County Commission has hired a Manhattan engineering firm to inspect the county’s bridges.
The Commission on Monday voted to enter into an agreement with Schwab-Eaton to conduct the inspection at a rate of $119.75 per bridge.
110 bridges will be inspected.
The Kansas Department of Transportation requires that bridges be inspected every two years.
