Sarah Norton
(KLZA)--A 16-year-old Falls City teen is missing, skipping a court date last week and not returning to her mother's home.
Veronica Hall says her daughter, Sarah Norton, hasn't been seen since Saturday.
According to Hall, Norton was serving house arrest, in connection with running away in the recent past.
Hall says Norton was scheduled to appear in court last Wednesday but failed to arrive, apparently removing her ankle bracelet monitor and fleeing from the Falls City area.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Norton should call Falls City Police at 402-245-4422. Investigators say they don’t have any immediate reason to believe Norton is in danger, but are requesting that they be notified of even the slightest detail regarding her whereabouts.
Authorities say it’s likely that she is somewhere in Lincoln or Omaha.
