(KMZA)--The Marshall County Fair will kick off Friday in Blue Rapids.
A figure 8 race will be held Friday evening and demolition derby Saturday evening in the grandstand area. The Schmitz Blitz will perform Saturday evening from 8 to 11.
The Barnyard Boogie’s annual 10K, 1-mile walk/run and 2-mile walk/run, will begin at 8 Sunday morning. Registration opens at 7. Also on Sunday the gospel band House of the Rising Sun will perform on the Public Square before the fair parade at 6. Following the parade, a pedal tractor pull will be held and entertainment will be provided by the Tim Strathman Band at 8 under the awning at the Achievement Center.
Monday’s highlights include the swine and bucket calf shows along with entertainment provided by Lucas Brooks at 8 that evening.
The fair will wrap up Tuesday evening with the livestock auction.
