(KTNC)--The Falls City Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call at Eastview Apartments Friday evening.
Fire Chief Ken Simpson says they were called at 7:40 Friday evening after an electric outlet in one apartment shorted out.
The fire was out by the time fire fighters arrived at the scene, but they stayed to check for any problems in the wiring.
Twelve fire fighters responded to the call Friday evening.
