(KTNC)--The passenger in a pickup involved in a crash on a northwest Missouri road Tuesday night was injured.
The Missouri State Patrol says 19-year-old Aleesha Ball of Fairfax was a passenger in a pickup driven by 17-year-old Garrett Ball that went off Missouri Highway 46 west of Route EE at 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The westbound pickup went off the north side of the road, then veered across the highway and went off the south side of the road, striking a mailbox before coming to rest facing east off the south side of the roadway.
Ball was treated at the scene for minor injuries sustained in the crash and was transported by private vehicle to the Fairfax Community Hospital.
Garrett Ball was not injures. The State Patrol says both vehicle occupants were wearing seat belts.
