(KTNC)--A man's body was found near train tracks in Holt County, but authorities say the death does not appear suspicious.
The St. Joseph News-Press reports Burlington Northern Santa Fe employees found the body Wednesday afternoon in southern Holt County.
Sheriff Scott Wedlock says the death is "unexplained," but not suspicious.
An autopsy has been ordered, which Sheriff Wedlock says was scheduled Thursday. He says they hope the autopsy will help them determine the identity of the man and the circumstances of his death so they can notify the next of kin.
Wedlock doesn’t anticipate results of the autopsy before Friday.
