(KAIR)--A Kansas City man is facing drug charges, following the alleged discovery of illegal drugs in his possession.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says 38-year-old Nathaniel Hayward was found to be asleep in a vehicle parked at the railroad crossing at Tenth Street in Atchison just after 2:00 Saturday morning. When police investigated, they found what appeared to be marijuana and cocaine in his possession.
Hayward was taken into custody on charges including possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, and driving while suspended. He remains in the Atchison County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
