(KLZA)-- This is Homecoming week at Mound City High School. Coronation of the Homecoming royalty will take place at Cegelnski Field at 6:15 p-m Friday night prior to the Panthers football game with West Nodaway.
Homecoming queen candidates are Lily Forehand, Grace Newcomb and Lena Ashford. The king candidates are Hayden Marrs, Timothy Runnels, Colton Smith and Vicente Soto who is an exchange student and an honorary candidate.
A Homecoming parade will be held on State Street in Mound City at 2 p-m Friday with participation by students at both Mound City and Craig since the schools are co-oping sports. The public is invited to attend a pep rally in the high school gym following the parade.
