(KAIR)--The fight against sex trafficking will be the focus of the 18th annual Fellin lecture, presented by the Sisters of Mount St. Scholastica Monastery at Benedictine College this weekend.
Kimberly Ritter, senior account manager at Nix Conference and Meeting Management, and the leader of the company's corporate social responsibility trafficking initiative, is scheduled to speak.
Ritter has, in the past, brought awareness to the issue of sex trafficking through speaking engagements, written articles, and press interviews. She volunteers with law enforcement to work with victims and parents of victims that have experienced sex trafficking in St. Louis. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the Congressional Victim's Rights Caucus Allied Professional Award, and the 2012 St. Louis Woman of Achievement for Human Welfare award.
The event will take place Sunday evening at 7:30 in the O'Malley-McAllister Auditorium on the Benedictine College Campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.
