(KAIR)--A single vehicle rollover wreck on a Buchanan County road Tuesday evening sends a St. Joseph man to the hospital.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says 29-year-old Carmelino Gonzalez-Diaz was northbound on MO Highway 371 two miles south of Faucett when his vehicle traveled off the right sight of the road and struck a mailbox. Gonzalez-Diaz returned to the road and overcorrected. His vehicle then struck an embankment and overturned, coming to rest with it's wheels facing west.
Gonzalez-Diaz was transported by Buchanan County Ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph with moderate injuries.
The Patrol says he was wearing a seat belt when the wreck occurred just before 7:30.
