Falls City School Board Wins Award

 (KTNC)-- The Falls City Public School Board has won an award from the Nebraska Association of School Boards. The NASB presented the Falls City Board with a 2014 President's Award during the organization's regional meeting in Nebraska City on Wednesday.

The award recognizes a school board's collective volunteer time and commitment to education. To be recognized, board members are required to participate in learning opportunities, attend workshops and conferences, conduct an annual leadership and goal planning retreat, and advocate for public education.

The Falls City Board is one of eight from across the state of Nebraska to receive the award.
