(KNZA)--Doniphan County Aging Department Administrator Julie Simmons has resigned.
The County Commission on Monday accepted Simmons letter of resignation, which was effective October 6th. No reason was given for the resignation. Simmons had held the position since May 2011.
The Commission appointed Joi Davies, who works in the public transportation division, as interim administrator. Davies will receive a $1 per hour temporary pay increase while serving in the interim position. Transportation driver Phyllis McCrory will assist Davies on a part-time basis until the position is permanently filled.
