(KLZA)-- The Falls City Middle School, Eighth Grade Class will be traveling back through the 20th Century Thursday evening, November 6.
The eighth grade Language Arts and American History classes will bring famous people of the 20th Century to Falls City Middle School that evening from 6-7:30 p-m as part of their 7th annual Chautauqua event.
Famous people of the 20th Century, such as Neil Armstrong, Thomas Edison, Oprah Winfrey, Harry Houdini and many more can be seen, including special performances by the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
The eighth grade students have worked diligently over the past couple of weeks researching and recreating a historical figure who has earned fame at some point during the 20th Century.
This is a free will offering event. Students have created collection containers relating to their individual character and the donation of a quarter, placed in their container allows spectators to observe the students’ individual performances.
Students will be spread throughout the school to provide room for their individual props. The money raised from this event by the eighth grade class will be donated to a charity selected by the students. This Chautauqua Night event is open to the public.
