(KTNC) Fall Clean-Up in Mound City will be held Sunday, November 9th for city residents and property owners. The clean-up will take place from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. at the swimming pool parking lot.
Stuart Disposal and Killan salvage will be accepting items. Those items are furniture, televisions, trash, appliances, iron, scrap metal and batteries. Items that will not be accepted include paint, lumber, chemicals and tires.
The tree dump will also be open for yard waste disposal.
The clean-up is open to Mound City households only and each household is allowed one loaded pickup, trailer or vehicle. Households need to show proof of city residency. Such as identification with address, a vehicle with a city sticker, a water bill with a service address or a property tax receipt. Each household is responsible for unloading their vehicle.
