(MSC News)--The Doniphan County Sheriff’s office would like to partner with the community to help supply area families with toys for Christmas. We will be accepting new or ‘like new’ toys and books for our Community Christmas Drive through December 12. Any donation of toys and/or books would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off any time to the Sheriff’s Office at 219 South Main Street in Troy, or you can call 785-985-3711 to have the items picked up. If you wish to give a monetary donation the money will be used to purchase toys or other needed winter items such as gloves, hats, and scarves. The donation can be dropped off or mailed to the Doniphan County Sheriff’s Department. The Sheriff’s Office values how our community supports and encourages our neighbors and friends. Thank you in advance for your participation in helping bring Christmas joy to the homes of many in our community.
