(KAIR)--For nearly three decades, Maur Hill-Mount Academy has celebrated Advent with the Lights of Love Celebration.
School President Phil Baniewicz says the annual celebration is based on the traditions practiced by the Sisters and Monks who founded the school over one hundred fifty years ago.
Baniewicz adds that the event will seek to pay tribute to those who are no longer with us. People can submit the name of a decesed loved one, and they will be listed and prayed for during the event.
Wine, cheese, and cookies will also be available at the event's conclusion.
The Annual Lights of Love Ceremony will take place this Sunday evening at the school starting at 5:00. The event is free, and everyone is invited to attend.
