(KLZA)-- Next Fall an external visit team will visit the Falls City Public School District to determine if District 56 will be accredited for another five-year period.
Shelly Leyden, the district Curriculum Coordinator and School Improvement Co-Chair, provided an overview of the AdvancED School Improvement process and information relating to the upcoming external review team visit that will take place October 4-7, 2015 to the Board Monday night.
Leyden told Board members and administrators that everything District 56 does revolves around student improvement. She said it is important that everyone involved be on the same page.
The external visitation is required every 5 years in order to meet the accreditation requirements.
