(KAIR)--It may be December, but plans are already being made for one of the biggest summer events in Atchison.
The Lakefest 2015 lineup was announced Wednesday, with three of country music's brightest stars scheduled to preform.
The event will be headlined by the Eli Young band, singers of the hit song “Drunk Last night”.
Easton Corbin will also appear, and will feature the song “Clockwork” from his latest album “It's about to get real”
The event will kick off with The Voice season three winner, Cassadee Pope taking the stage, singing the first single “Wasting all these tears”, which is featured on her debut solo album “Frame by Frame”.
Amelia Earhart Festival Coordinator Jacque Pregont says they are really excited about the lineup, and are looking forward to having another great show out at the lake.
Lakefest will be held July 17th at Warnock Lake. Gift certificates are now on sale at the Chamber office for the early bird price of $25. Pregont says these certificates can be redeemed anytime after May 1st when tickets go on sale.
