(KNZA)--Several candidates have filed so far for positions up for election in April on Jackson County school boards.
Four positions each are up for election April 7th on the Jackson Heights, Holton and Royal Valley school boards.
Incumbent Shelby Patch has filed for re-election to position three on the Holton USD 336 school board and Orin Marshall has filed for position two on the board, which is currently held by Denise Sweet.
Incumbent Neal Keeler has filed for re-election to position three on the Jackson Heights USD 335 board and Boone Smith for re-election to position two on the Royal Valley USD 337 board.
Candidates have until noon on Tuesday, January 27th to file at the Jackson County Clerk's office.
