(KAIR)--An Atchison man pleads guilty in connection with battery against a police officer.
20-year-old John Poff entered the plea Monday in Atchison County District Court.
He's charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, interference with a law enforcement officer, and battery against a law enforcement officer.
Sentencing has been set for February 27th.
Poff was arrested last month after Atchison EMS was dispatched to a residence located in the 300 block of Santa Fe Street for a report of an unconscious individual. When they arrived, Poff , who had regained consciousness, allegedly verbally threatened them and police officers who were assisting.
