Additional Charges Filed in Road Rage Shooting Case
(KNZA/AP)--Additional charges have been filed against a Topeka man accused of shooting at motorists on U.S. 75 Highway in southern Jackson County.
51-year-old Cory Huff originally was charged with attempted intentional second-degree murder, discharge of a firearm at an occupied vehicle and reckless driving.
Jackson County Attorney Shawna Miller has filed an amended complaint to add two more counts of attempted second-degree murder and another count of discharge of a firearm at an occupied vehicle.
Huff is accused of shooting at two vehicles on U.S. 75 Highway this past New Year’s eve. No injuries were reported.
Miller says the incident was a random act of road rage.
Huff remains in the Jackson County Jail, held on $250,000 bond.
