(KNZA)--A Hoyt man is identified as the owner of of a Ford Mustang pulled from the Kaw River Tuesday morning.
WIBW identifies the owner as Don Hoover, who told the TV station that someone broke into his Topeka auto repair shop Monday night and stole the car along with tools and an air conditioner.
Topeka Police spotted the car while patrolling a boat ramp at the river.
The car was towed out of the river.
Hoover used the vehicle, considered a total loss, at various area Arab Shrine functions.
