(KNZA)--An Atchison man is jailed in Jackson County, taken into custody Thursday and facing four felony charges.
24-year-old Ryan Marcus Brownfield was arrested on a Jackson County warrant for attempted murder in the second degree aggravated battery, obstruction of official duty and fleeing and attempting to elude a law enforcement officer.
Bond for Brownfield is set at $250,000.
The charges stem from a March 12th incident when a Jackson County Sheriff's Deputy escaped injury during a vehicle pursuit that began in Atchison County.
Authorities allege that Brownfield maneuvered the vehicle that was being pursued in an attempt to strike the Deputy who was on foot.
