(KNZA)--Water related issues, combined with the extreme heat, has led to a call for voluntary water conservation in the City of Horton
That word Tuesday following the shut down of two water wells in the city.
City Clerk/Administrator Kim Clausen says the request to conserve water is a precautionary measure, and it's hoped that the city will have the wells up and running soon.
Work is being conducted to remedy the situation, with the conservation effort to continue until further notice.
