(KNZA)--The names of the four teens accused of last weeks' armed robbery in Topeka have been released.
Topeka Police name the suspects as Raymond A Z Felton, Joshua Weaver, Jared Elder and Kelly Koontz, all 17-years of age.
The Topeka Capital-Journal reports the three are accused of entering Topeka's Academy Sports Friday afternoon while masked and armed, taking what police identify as rifles and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The teens were located later in Topeka and the stolen items have been recovered.
All four were booked into the Juvenile Detention Center on charges including aggravated assault, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary.
Online social media posts indicate that at least two of the teens have ties to the local area, but MSC News has not yet independently confirmed the connection.
According to WIBW, the story has sparked national attention because a man carrying a concealed weapon under the new Kansas law requiring no permit confronted the suspects and caused them to drop several of the stolen weapons.
