(KNZA)--The city of Hiawatha will be chip and sealing a number of streets in the community starting Monday and continuing through Friday, weather allowing.
This year Redhawk Drive, Longfellow, Morrill Avenue, Minnehaha, the 300 block of Osage, Shoshone, Choctaw, Sequoya, Sioux, Mohawk, Lodge Road, South Seventh Street from the 700 block south to the US 36 overpass, and West Oregon will be completed.
Residents are asked to have all motorized vehicles removed from the streets through the duration of the project.
If the vehicles are not removed, they will be towed at the owner’s expense. Crews will be starting at 7 in the morning, so your vehicles should removed prior to that time.
